El Libro Investigación en la educación superior: una perspectiva multidisciplinar reúne un conjunto de trabajos académicos desarrollados por académicos de la Universidad Veracruzana, con el objetivo de mostrar el impacto de la investigación en la educación superior desde una perspectiva multidisciplinaria. A lo largo de sus capítulos, se abordan experiencias educativas y científicas en diversas áreas como química, pedagogía, teatro, estadística, ingeniería y administración. El eje transversal de la obra es la articulación entre docencia e investigación, evidenciando cómo esta sinergia fortalece la formación de profesionales críticos, reflexivos y comprometidos con la sociedad. Destacan temas como la importancia de la literacidad científica, el diseño de ambientes educativos saludables, la profesionalización docente en artes, la resiliencia académica, y el rol del estadístico en entornos tecnológicos. Asimismo, se reflexiona sobre la inclusión de la investigación en programas educativos, el análisis de indicadores de rendimiento académico, y el fortalecimiento de las capacidades investigativas en escenarios complejos. Esta obra colectiva aporta elementos valiosos para repensar la universidad como agente transformador y la innovación educativa.
